Being unimpressed with the selection of Turn A Gundam gifs available, I took matters into my own hands and took notes of timestamps of interesting clips from the show and then turned those into gifs!
It was a labor of love (and an immense amount of time but I get a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I see one of these bad boys in the wild)
This page should outline both how to find these GIFs in various locations, either to use directly or to save for your own nefarious purposes, as well as the process that went into making them for anyone to follow.
Great Question! The easiest is probably Tenor Gif Keyboard, which is the default gif search engine used by Discord, Twitter and Google Chat. So in most places where you want to have gifs, they should show up.
Generally you will have your best luck searching by a character’s or mobile suit’s specific name. There are a lot of extraneous results for “Turn A Gundam” but less for “Harry Ord” or “Dianna Soriel”. It is hard to find the gifs for the Turn A mobile suit, but they are all tagged with "MUSTACHIOED WHITE DOLL” which may help

I’m not necessarily a huge fan of Imgur because it applies some compression on top of the GIFs which is lossy and has some weird artifacts but I do like it for static images because it embeds well so if I’m already uploading the static images there, might as well add the rest.
That being said I am behind, eventually I’ll update all of these

The database is available on it’s own page by clicking the expand option on the right side (two arrows pointing to the top left and bottom right). The view defaults (I think?) to a gallery with pictures but you can view a Table too. By default I have filtered a lot of these to completed GIFs, but I also use this database for tracking new clips I want to make into GIFs, so they’re also there
Frankly I don’t know why you would need to make your own when all these wonderful Turn A GIFs exist, but if you do, this is what I did. My current workflow is a combination of ffmpeg and Final Cut Pro (FCP), I did use Premier Pro for the first set of GIFs but I couldn’t tell you the exact setting. This is all Mac specific so if you don’t use a Mac… uhhh sorry idk what to tell you.
